Better Buzz Coffee is buzzing all over San Diego, opening locations left and right. A little bird told us there was a location coming up in La Jolla and we're comingBonitoexcited. However, one of my favorite places is Hillcrest - the decor is fantastic, there are all sorts of nooks and crannies to sit in, and it's a great place to study.

Along with fun wallpapers and neon signs, Parakeet Cafe will make the diet-restricted person in your life very happy. There are plenty of vegan and gluten free options. Everything looks healthy and I've been working on the menu.

Frost Me Cafe & Bakery was made famous by the showGet two cupcakes🇧🇷 This bakery and coffee shop serves Ritual Coffee (one of my favorite brands). You are right in the heart of Little Italy. So after you've stuffed yourself with coffee and pastries, head out the door to one of the many restaurants in the area.

Relative to its main location, the café's airflow is communal. This place was too cute not to make the list. I love the boho vibes that are very reminiscent of Joshua Tree. Choose this place on a sunny day if you want to meet up with friends.

I don't want to discriminate (since I loveAllthe cafes on this list) but the Grounds Bear Barit couldbe my new favorite. The coffee was smooth and I lived my best life with this establishment. And if there aren't enough photos for you inside, there's a beautiful cafe mural outside.

Wayfarer is more of a bakery than a coffee shop, but let me tell you - their seasonal scones are to die for. The coffee itself is incredibly smooth (always a plus in my book) and there's a wide variety of savory baked goods. After you've eaten your fill here, head down to the water for a stroll.

As you drove down Kettner Blvd, you might have seen a small window where you can grab a coffee and a donut next to the Kettner Exchange. Well, that's Devil's Dozen. What you might not have noticed was the small staircase leading upstairs to a rooftop lounge. Let me tell you - I don't know what was more shocking - how good the coffee was, the beauty of this hidden lounge or the fact that I didn't try a donut.

How can we describe the Invigatorium? For starters, it's like nowhere you've ever seen. There's a life-size dragon, a spinning disco ball, Ronald McDonald sitting on one of the couches, and T-Rex lounging at the bar. Not to mention that on one side is a cafe serving breakfast and on the other is an all day bar with quite an extensive menu! All I can say is the vibe is cool and you willfeelCool off while enjoying your cocktail or iced coffee here.

TheYerbaBar might not be your traditional coffee shop as they are really known for their YerbaMate. YerbaMate is a very popular tea in South America with many beneficial health properties. BUT, they make the list because they technically serve coffee (we went with the lavender latte and loved it).
Located on Pacific Beach's lively Garnet Ave, you'll feel like you've been whisked away into a beautiful, relaxing environment as soon as you enter the hotel. job done)!

The name of this cafe fits perfectly as it looks like a scene from the Secret Garden. If you don't know it's there, you can just keep going. This plant/cafe is perfect for reading a good book over coffee or meeting up with a friend.

I had wanted to visit S3 (literally) for a number of years before finally making it there. Due to the pandemic, most indoor seating has been closed. But think: marble tables, velvet chairs and then this super cool art corner. Definitely unique! Pro tip: In the fall, they offer pumpkin lattes on select days.
